Some card games

Cambio

🎯 Objective

  • End the game with the lowest total score from your 4 cards.

πŸ‘₯ Players

  • 2 to 8 players
  • 1 standard 52-card deck

πŸ”„ Setup

  • Each player receives 4 face-down cards, placed in a 2Γ—2 grid.
  • At the start, each player looks at their two bottom cards once, then puts them back face-down.
  • These two bottom cards must be memorized for the entire game.
  • Create a draw pile and a discard pile in the center.

▢️ Turn Overview

On your turn:

  1. Draw one card from the deck or discard pile.
  2. Choose to:
    • Use the power (if it's a power card), then discard it.
    • OR swap it blindly with one of your 4 face-down cards and discard the swapped card.
  3. If the deck runs out, shuffle the discard pile to continue.

πŸͺ„ Card Powers

Card(s) Power
7 / 8 Look at one of your own face-down cards
9 / 10 Look at one face-down card of another player
Jack (J) / Queen (Q) Blind swap one of your cards with another player's (no peeking)
♣️♠️ King (Black) Look at another player’s card, then choose to swap or not
♦️❀️ King (Red) Same as Black King + worth -1 point (all others are face value)

Note: All cards (except Red King) carry their face value for scoring.

πŸ—‘οΈ Discard Rules

At any time during the game, a player may attempt to discard a face-down card by matching it to top card on discard pile.

  • If you discard a card that matches one of your own, the card is placed in the discard pile and your cards remain unchanged.
  • If you discard a card that matches someone else's, and it’s correct:
    • You discard that card.
    • You give one face-down card from your hand to that player.
  • If your discard is incorrect (doesn't match the discard pile top card):
    • You must take back the attempted discard.
    • Then draw one additional card from the draw pile.

πŸ“£ End game Trigger

  • Any player may call "Cambio" at the start of their turn if they believe they have the lowest total.
  • Once called:
    • All other players get one final turn.
    • Then all players reveal their cards.
    • Player with the lowest total score wins.

Not at Home

🎯 Objective

  • End the game with the all the cards with you.

πŸ‘₯ Players

  • 3 to 8 players
  • 1 standard 52-card deck

▢️ Turn Overview

Request a Card:

  • On your turn, ask another player for a specific card (e.g., "Do you have the 7 of clubs?").
    Response:
  • If the player has the requested card, they must give it to you.
  • If the player does not have the card, they reply with "Not at home," and the turn ends. The player who asked for the card continues their turn, trying again with another player.

πŸ“£ End game Trigger

  • When a player has entire deck of 52 cards.
